Built on Evidence

Built on Evidence

The supplement industry has a trust problem. Not because the products do not work — some do, well. Because the industry has consistently chosen to obscure rather than clarify. Proprietary blends that hide sub-therapeutic doses. Claims that outrun evidence. Marketing built on aspiration and athlete association rather than mechanism and data.

We started Aethera because we were frustrated with that standard. And because we believed there was a different way to build this.

What We Set Out to Do

The premise was simple: build formulas the way the science says they should be built. Clinical doses of ingredients with demonstrated efficacy. Full transparency on every label. Third-party testing on every batch. No compromises to hit a price point.

Simple to state. Harder to execute at the margins we needed to build a business. We did it anyway, because the alternative was to become the thing we were trying to replace.

The Evidence Standard

We do not use an ingredient unless it meets three criteria. There must be robust human clinical data — not animal studies, not mechanistic rationale alone, but randomised controlled trials in human subjects. The ingredient must be present at the dose used in that research. And the source must be verifiable, with known bioavailability characteristics and a third-party testing programme.

This sounds like a low bar. In practice, it eliminates the majority of what is sold in this category.

Who We Are Building For

We are not building for the casual gym-goer looking for a shortcut. We are building for people who take their training seriously, who want to understand what they are putting in their bodies, and who are tired of being marketed at rather than informed.

Athletes. Coaches. People who read the label and know what they are looking at. People who want to close the gap between effort and outcome through precision, not hype.

The Long View

We are playing a long game. Not the product-launch-and-move-on model that dominates the industry, but a sustained commitment to a single standard — evidence, transparency, quality — applied consistently across everything we make.

That is how trust is built. It is the only way we know how to build it.
