PCOS & Insulin Resistance
JADE+ CYCLE
Protocol 004 · PCOS & Insulin Resistance
PCOS is metabolic. Treat it that way.
PCOS is fundamentally insulin resistance and inflammation — not just a reproductive issue. JADE+ CYCLE targets the documented mechanisms, with the formulation details (ratio, dose) that most commercial products get wrong.
The biology
In most PCOS, insulin resistance comes first — high insulin drives the ovaries to overproduce androgens, which disrupts ovulation and the cycle. Standard care is metformin plus birth control, which many women want alternatives to. CYCLE works on the metabolic root: restoring insulin signalling, lowering oxidative stress, and supporting ovulatory function with the compounds that have the strongest RCT base.
What this protocol targets
Insulin sensitivity
Myo + D-chiro-inositol at the 40:1 ratio shown to improve insulin signalling and ovulation.
Glucose metabolism
Berberine and chromium to support healthy glucose handling via the AMPK pathway.
Oxidative stress
NAC — studied for ovulation and insulin sensitivity, sometimes comparably to metformin.
Whole-system support
Magnesium and gentle fibre for the blood-sugar and inflammatory load that underlie the condition.
Who it's for
- Women with PCOS, irregular cycles, or signs of androgen excess
- Anyone with insulin resistance or blood-sugar instability
- Those seeking evidence-based alternatives or adjuncts to standard care
