Postpartum Recovery
JADE+ FOURTH
Protocol 006 · Postpartum Recovery
The fourth trimester is recovery.
Birth depletes iron, B12, DHA, choline and more — while tissue repair, lactation and broken sleep raise demand at the exact moment intake is hardest. AETHERA FOURTH rebuilds, in formats that survive one-handed, sleep-deprived dosing.
The biology
Pregnancy and birth draw maternal stores down hard — iron lost to bleeding, DHA and choline routed to the baby, B-vitamins and minerals depleted by months of demand. Then recovery, lactation and fragmented sleep raise the requirement further. The "fourth trimester" is a genuine recovery state, and standard care rarely supports it. FOURTH does.
What this protocol targets
Replenish
Gentle iron bisglycinate with B12 and folate to rebuild what blood loss and pregnancy depleted.
Maternal brain & baby
DHA and choline for maternal mood and cognition, and — if breastfeeding — infant development.
Sleep & mood
Magnesium and gentle adaptogen support for the HPA axis under newborn sleep deprivation.
Tissue repair
Collagen and protein to support recovery, skin and connective tissue after birth.
Who it's for
- Anyone in the weeks and months after giving birth
- Breastfeeding mothers managing raised nutrient demand
- Those recovering from the depletion, broken sleep and tissue repair of the fourth trimester
